As a Christmas present to myself, i purchased a new Canon D60 SLR camera. Why? I was tired of spending a fortune for other photographers to take great pictures of my kids when i could do it myself. Yeah, right.
I got good at shooting photos on AUTO. I took some really great photos but sometimes i would run into problems with depth of field (ha, learned that term in class) and lighting. I just could not take the photos i wanted. Then it dawned on me, i bought myself an expensive and heavy point and shoot camera. Crazy. I needed to learn how to my new camera so I decided to take a photography class at the local university. Why not, i am a stay at home mom now whose mom was coming up for the summer. Grandma wanted to spend time with her grandkids, i needed a sitter so i could take the class. It was so meant to be.
